V&A

It is with great pride and joy that I can can announce that all 23 moth mezzotints have been acquired by the Victoria & Albert museum, London. The mezzotints are not yet on display but they, along with all the prints and drawings in this majestic public collection, can be ‘called up’ to the print room (pictured) for viewing by any member of the public, via the V&A website.

The news that these mezzotints of common British moths will be kept of such a treasured national museum has made my year and I am enormously grateful to V&A curators Katherine Martin and Gill Saunders, who worked with Meryl Ainslie of Rabley Gallery to facilitate this acquisition.
