John Ruskin Prize

Wounded Tiger has been shortlisted for the 2024 John Ruskin Prize.

The theme of the competition was ‘seeing the unseen, hearing the unheard’ and this  image of a Garden Tiger, a moth that has declined by around 90% and who’s caterpillars used to feed our now largely absent cuckoos, seemed to me to fit the bill almost perfectly.

The exhibition of shortlisted works will be at Trinity Buoy Wharf from 1st – 17th February

Congratulations on your shortlisting for the Ruskin Prize, I am the proud owner of your oil painting ‘A Quiet Day’ painted around 1990/2000?
I met you briefly at your first Waterhouse Dodd exhibition in London.

I would be pleased to lend it to you should you wish to hold a retrospective exhibition in the future.

With all good wishes for the 31st.

    Melanie
